Strategy Analyst  (fulltime)

We are  looking for a strategy analyst with minimum 2 years’ experience in analytical functions, preferably in financial services. Support steering of operational collection strategies by keeping oversight on stock development and KPI’s evolution, targeting to improve performance. Provide insights on areas of improvement and focus.

Your skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyse data to produce, evaluate and interpret information to monitor trends within collections and recommend decisions that will have a positive impact on business performance.
  • Establish major KPI’s, collect the needed data for it and evaluate movements
  • Constantly evaluate opportunities to improve collection performance / stock management
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering data-driven insights on a regular basis that help drive operational performance, inform investment decisions and build confidence and trust in the local Strategy & Analytics (steering) function
  • Support both local and group functions in the development and implementation of strategic change

Who are you?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in analytical functions, preferably in financial services
  • Fluent in Dutch and English- spoken and written
  • Exceptional statistical skills; Advanced knowledge in the use of analytical tools (e.g. SQL)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. Ability to communicate in English to a high standard is preferred
  • Ability to present complex and detailed data in a format that aids debate and discussion across the business
  • Ability to think strategically and translate thinking and analytical results into tangible plans
  • Basic understanding of key commercial aspects of debt management and understand contribution to business, using this knowledge to identify tactics to maximise performance is preferred
  • Proven track record in using internal and external data and insight to make decisions and recommendations that shape business strategy and improve performance
  • A high level of customer focus with a proven record of delivering high standards of customer/seller service and experience
  • Ability to work independently, pro-actively, multi-task and deliver. Also able to work in teams, mediating between team members to diminish negative effects on team productivity and work environment
